In the same experiment, sales of the accessories the model wore in the video rose by 28.3%. With clothing, shoppers mostly want to see how a piece fits and moves, and a still photo cannot show that.
We broke down 121 product videos from Zalando, shot by shot. Nike, adidas and Calvin Klein all have video on their product pages there. We build our videos the same way, so your collection holds up next to the big brands.

What is probably on your mind
On the Czech market, a classic product video for an online store costs €330–1,230 from a freelancer and €820–3,300 from an agency (Skillminers, 2026, converted at 24.34 CZK/EUR). A shoot with a model adds up from day rates: model €210–620, camera operator €250–620, post-production €410–1,640 (VideoBorn, 2026). AI production from photos you already have costs around €60–80 per video at services with public price lists. The research does not agree yet. In an experiment with 150 participants (Bensch, 2026), people could not tell unlabelled AI clothing images from photographs: trust, perceived quality and purchase intention showed no statistically significant difference. Another study with 145 respondents (Ridko, 2026) found real models earned more trust, especially for pricier products. With very complex materials such as pleats, fine lace or small print on a label, AI sometimes misses. That is why a person checks every video and you see a sample of your own product before you pay.
In a field experiment in a fashion store, adding a video to a product increased clothing sales by 14.5% and sales of the accessories the model wore by 28.3% (Kumar and Tan, 2015, Management Science). Nobody can guarantee the same result for you. Start with a few products you already promote and expand based on campaign numbers.
